Unlike most adventure centres we only take one booking for residential adventure breaks on each of our sites at any time. This means you get sole use of all the facilities on each site without the potential distraction of other users.
The main adventure centre is based in the village of Stottesdon, with the main building dating from 1830. The property has been in the owners' family since 1966 and is still the home to the owners and their young family. This is where the centre has its office and is the home to its team of permanent staff.
Part of the building has been converted to provide a self-contained Hostel to sleep 50 people, and makes ideal school residential or group accommodation. The ground floor comprises of a large entrance area for storing coats and shoes, a dining area, fully equipped kitchens and a comfortable T.V. lounge area.
The centre has a permanent team of kitchen staff to cater for your group's needs.
The dormitory accommodation is divided into three units, the first sleeping 28 people in 3 rooms which have their own toilet and shower facilities. There is an en-suite staff room sleeping three adjoining this unit.
The second accommodation unit is a purpose made log cabin joined to the main building that sleeps 16 people in two rooms, with its own bathroom facilities. This also has an adjoining staff accommodation unit sleeping three with its own facilities.
The third unit has an ensuite room that sleeps 3 and another that sleeps 6 with full disables shower/toilet facilities and access.
All three accommodation blocks are linked by a covered walkway.
The main site also offers a large hall for games/meetings, 3 acres of grounds, a drying room, tuck and souvenir shop and an outdoor heated pool (summer use only).
The main site also houses a newly equipped training room with state of the art media and audio-visual facilities. This can be used by groups, for meetings and closed courses.
Normal residential bookings for our adventure courses and breaks run from a Monday to a Friday or a weekend. We can also offer half weeks from Monday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Friday.
