THE OLD VICARAGE ADVENTURE CENTRE

The centre owner (Anthony) has over 20 years experience in swift and white water environments. This passion for safety and working in this white water environment has led to the centre being one of the few training venues in the UK offering a range of courses suited to kayakers, raft guides and the emergency services. Courses are administered by ‘Rescue 3 International’, and are the only internationally recognised white water rescue courses.

We now run a full range of first aid courses. These can be run at the centre, but can also be bought into your workplace and run on your site on days to suit you. We specialise in tailor made courses designed to your needs and themed to suit your group.Both Anthony (centre owner) and Bill (centre manager) are qualified Instructors to run the following courses. Anthony has completed an EMT course, and in addition to this they are both Community First responders for Shropshire Ambulance service providing them with a wealth of experience, including the outdoors, expedition and remote environments.

Our climbing courses are designied for beginners and people wanting to gain more experience in rope techniques or developing your climbing style and learning how to move on rock. We offer a choice of intensive weekend courses or days aimed at developing existing skills.

The centre offers a wide range of Canoeing and Kayaking courses. Whether you just simply want to give it a go, bounce down some rapids in a fast flowing gorge, or surf off the coast then we've got the course for you.

As from November, we are offering a varied program of adventurous activities, with the empasis on a fun sociable day with like minded adults!
