With over 25 years experience and track record working with education authorities and educational establishments, our Old Vicarage Adventure Centre is the choice of many groups for their school residential trips and day visits. Whatever the aim of your trip - be it education, adventure or study, we will ensure it goes smoothly from the booking stage to the visit itself. We offer full support in organising your visit, so don’t hesitate to call us for assistance at the centre on 01746 718 436.
Our customers include primary, secondary and further education establishments from around the U.K. Our staff are trained to work with all abilities and from all backgrounds including those with learning difficulties, disabilities and those with behavioural needs.
The staff at our adventure centre are very used to the processes involved in planning a school residential trip and will assist in the pre-trip requirements, visit you to do presentations, and plan an itinerary to suit your needs. Choose from over 20 activities to make your school residential trip as varied as possible. In addition to this the personal attention to detail and support during your visit is the main reason most groups return again and again.
In 2011 we provided quality residential and adventure days for over 10,000 people. The majority of these people have been coming to us for years, proof of our unrivalled attention and quality of activities. As we offer sole use of our accommodation, residential groups need to book early to avoid disappointment.
We are AALS licensed and approved by many governing bodies, and by many educational authorities throughout the U.K. In today’s climate we aim to make it as easy as possible to help you run your visit. We also hold a Learning Outside the Classroom Quality Badge. This is a national benchmark for the provision of educational visits, which recognises organisations offering high quality learning experiences and managing risk effectively.
